Escape from a crazed yandere in Saiko No Sutoka, a thrilling horror adventure game developed by habupain. Unlike typical horror game enemies, the unique enemy AI in this indie survival game will keep you on your toes. Set in a school environment after hours, you must navigate the halls while avoiding a dangerously crazy girl.

In Japanese, "yandere" combines the words "yanderu" (to be sick) and "deredere" (lovestruck). Typically sweet and innocent, yanderes become extremely violent and psychotic due to their intense devotion to their love interest. While many games explore this character type, Saiko No Sutoka takes a different approach. Instead of playing as the yandere, you must run from her. The psycho stalker will actively search for you, hiding, sneaking, and even waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

To win the game, you must find the keycode to unlock the exit. Explore the dimly-lit school, searching for clues and keys to progress. Be cautious, as some rooms require keys, and you can only hold one at a time. Use the W, A, S, and D keys to move, and press E to interact with objects. Shift allows you to run, but be careful, as the sound can give away your location.

While Saiko No Sutoka offers a refreshing AI system and a creepy atmosphere with its dark lighting and shading, escaping the enemy can be challenging. The yandere can suddenly respawn inside a room, making it difficult to spot her since you don't have a flashlight. Despite this, the game shows promise and comes highly recommended for horror game enthusiasts.
